Confidence is a wonderful character trait that we all seek to achieve but sometimes there is a fine line between confidence and stupidity. This photo reminded me of a salesman that used to call on me every month. He was extremely confident in his ability to sell me on the service he was offering and almost had convinced me to do business with him the first few times he came through my door. However, each time we talked he became a little more-pushy and eventually he told me I was a fool if I didn’t buy what he was selling.
Oops, this guy just crossed the line from confidence to stupidity! He was so confident that he could sell himself to me that he forgot I still had the power to reject him, and reject him I did. Not only did he lose the initial sale, neither he nor his company will ever have the opportunity to sell anything to Delta Kits in the future.
Back to the photo. A confident cat will walk along the top of the fence knowing the odds of the dog on the ground reaching him are slim but this cat might just have crossed the line to stupidity. By the way, this cat looks exactly like my cat Ollie, and apparently has the same attitude!
