Description
A set of replacement motor brushes for the Griot’s Professional 3″ Random Orbit Sander (Pre-2020) or the Griot’s Garage G8 Mini Random Orbital Polisher. Motor brushes, carbon motor brush set only, does not come with orbital sander.
Step-by-step instructional video explaining how to change Griot’s Sander Motor Brushes on a Griot’s 3″ random orbital sander. Use the 3″ random orbital sander in the Delta Kits headlight restoration systems to remove yellow oxidation from headlights. While restoring headlights, use a professional random orbital sander to reduce the intensity of swirl marks. On a headlight lens, avoid burn marks, which are often problematic with traditional sanders. Unlike the Metabo’s or other random orbital sanders made with plastic gears, the metal gears inside Griots sanders create a durable and long-lasting orbital sander.
How Do I Prep Headlights When a Bull Bar is Present?
How do you work on a vehicle that has a bull bar? I can’t fit the Griot’s orbital sander to prep the headlights. I use the Infinity 4.1 but notice if you have any scratches in the headlight they are noticeable, I tried wet sanding to 2000 and hand polishing to get the scratched out, but you can still see them after applying the Infinity 4.1.
In Australia, we do have a product similar to Coat2Protect but has to be cured by UV light and isn’t as user-friendly as the Infinity 4.1. Are there any helpful hints anyone can give me? I’m only mobile, so I don’t want to be at a job longer than I have to be. Time is money. Continue Reading
