I have a thick glass kidney-shaped coffee table with beveled edges. It is supported by a curved glass on the edge. The top has 4 chips on its edges. One of the supports has damage on a vertical edge. Two questions:

We have repaired many types of glass surfaces using the 30277 Plate Glass Repair Kit you are referring to, which includes coffee tables. The kit will eliminate sharp edges and provides a smooth finish.
Cosmetic appearance is also improved considerably, but due to the large volume of resin required to fill the damage, a competed repair will always be visible.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t give you an idea of what a glass repair shop would charge for this type of repair.
Have you ever seen a BB hole in a storefront window and wonder if it is repairable? Despite the cone-shaped plug of glass missing from the large side of the break (usually on the inside of the glass), repairing these types of damages is possible. A plate-glass repair is a common process.
